What a fun & creative idea.. I just LOVE this little potting nook!
I have a 200+ year old barn that I use for my farm's potting shed but its a work space primarily. My bench is set up to look out the barn door to the garden & bluebirds. But the inside is very dark of course.
Often I think a small shed shed with lots of windows would be fun to enjoy. However, there is something to be said for open 'rooms' which your wonderful piece calls to mind...
Is it all open air to the garden or is there a roof ect?
It’s all outside although protected by house and garage. If you have the space I would encourage you to consider building a classic potting shed/greenhouse. If you are interested I can give you a link to plans for one of my favorites.
I have a little spot by the pool deck that might be perfect for a little ‘room’ like this. With my farm and the endless seed sowing I am in dire need of a greenhouse— since ditching the plastics it’s been hard to find plans that don’t use the plastic film… Yes please send a link— I’d love to see the plans!
It does use polycarbonate on the roof, though…but maybe you could replace with old windows? It’s harder to do but they sure are pretty with real glass.
Soooo purty!
